Hi Catherina, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The idea of being independent and have the opportunity to do many things at the same time. Enjoy my family, have the change to help others. The fact of being employed is a great opportunity to develop discipline, responsability, but it is also a comsuming life which sometimes can private you from growing. . I’ve always been very clear about what I want in the future, so I had to go for it from a very young age. I’ve been always aware that starting my own business is not an easy path to follow, but it is not impossible either. Its a journey full of ups and downs but the satisfaction of seeing in real life the results of all your effort, constancy and faith pays for it all.
Starting my own business is one of the best and major decisions I’ve made along the way. I can’t say it is all perfect, funny, because I will be lying. But for sure I can say, if you dream about it, act for it. I knew I wanted to grow, I am still doing it, but I am enjoying every steo of the way.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
In this industry we all are so different. Each person/company has their own advantages to be proud of, and that is exactly what makes you different wherever you are or wherever you go. In my case, I am proud of being a very patient, comprehensive person, I always try to think to find a way to help and understand others. Despite talent, fees, degrees, recognition, there has to be something else to offer. It is not about fame or something like that, it is about being a real, humble and kind person to others no matter what. Transparency and honesty are a key to success and being a reliable business.
Denfit Design was born in the heart of a young girl who wanted to be successful and have the opportunity in life to do business that transmit joy and satisfaction. Architecture, Construction and Interior Design Industry is a world full of challenges, innovations, endless options to offer. We have to be constantly learning, and each client or project is a world of adventures, experiences and the chance to develop more skills.
My business is a blessing because I can help others, the fact that you can live or work in a space that can share the right feelings and emotions is a very important factor to develop your activities and talents. The atmosphere where you stand has to reflect who you are, a well-designed and balanced space can help you be a lot better because even when colors and textures are taken for granted, their impact in your life and daily routine is so big. That’s exactly what I do, I help you get the space that fits your personality and needs to help you be better, to live better, to have joy and peace in your comfort zone. The design process is a journey in which we discover new things that makes us happy and more grateful in life.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The first one would be God. My faith has taken me higher than expected. The moments I want to quit, I rest on God and recognize that he is in control. He planted all these dreams on me, so if they are planted, is because they will be true. Sometimes I felt like I had no more reasons to keep going, but the hard times help you grow and be more creative. Having God’s guidance is a great privilege I will always be thankfull for.
My family is my biggest support, their company, advices, experience, are an important part of my history. Having their support every time is a gift I can not take for granted.
All the mentors I’ve had along the way, I’ve taken every single detail to myself. I watched, I listened, I practiced, I take courage. You have to always being surrounded from people with more expertise than you, that’s the way yo learn better.
